I love the explosion of articles and pieces on personal branding I have been noticing lately. I can remember a time not that long ago when personal branding was thought about by corporate executives and entertainers only!

Now, with the accessibility of the Internet and social media networks, personal branding is a necessary component for corporate success. It is the only means by which to differentiate yourself from others offering your same services in a cluttered marketplace. In today’s marketplace people no longer buy into company brands, they are buying into personal brands: the people behind the company brands.
