The Best DIY For Kissable Lips

DIY For Kissable Lips

DIY For Kissable Lips Are The Best Ones.

Every brandista craves nice full, kissable lips. People going under the knife to get full kissable lips but luckily we have options. It’s no need to go quite that far. There are natural beauty tricks for any and everything we desire, including a DIY for kissable lips. Here are 3 natural beauty tricks to boost your lip game this holiday season.

Plump Pout – Not born with full lips or do you just want them bigger? Well it’s no need to see the plastic surgeon, just go in the kitchen and grab the cinnamon! Cinnamon is a natural lip plumper because it mildly irritates the skin on your lips, stimulating the blood supply, which causes them to redden and swell. You can either use cinnamon powder or cinnamon oil.

3 Natural DIY For Kissable Lips Beauty Tricks For Every Brandista

What you will need:

  • Cinnamon powder or oil (Cinnamon oil is an essential oil which means it’s very potent. it’s important to dilute it with a carrier oil like coconut oil)
  • Coconut Oil at room temperature
  • Wash cloth

Instructions:

1.) Mix the cinnamon and coconut oil together and gently rub it into your lips.
2.) Leave the mixture on for 30 seconds to 1 minute depending on the sensitivity of your skin
3.) Take a moistened wash cloth and gently wipe off

4.) Re-moisturize your lips with coconut oil or any moisturizer of your choice

Tip: For an extra boost of sweetness, simply swap out the coconut oil for honey!

Lip Scrub – Do your lips ever get dry and peel? We’re in the winter months, so this may happen more frequently. Many people tend to make sure they exfoliate their face and bodies but often times forget about the lips. I exfoliate my lips once a week but I know people who do it every night and their lips always look great. Creating a lip exfoliating scrub is easy, I just took a lesson from one of my favorite natural Vloggers HeyFranHey.

What you will need for your DIY for kissable lips:

Brown Sugar (preferably dark brown sugar with molasses)

Carrier Oil of your choice (Sweet almond oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the brown sugar and oil in a container.

  2. Gently rub the mixture onto your lips in the circular motion.

  3. Remove the mixture by wipe it off with a warm towel

  4. Follow it up with the moisturizer of your choice.

Tip: Do not exfoliate your lips before doing the plump pout option mentioned above. Dry exfoliated lips will result in discomfort of the irritation of the cinnamon

DIY Kissable Lips Balm – There are a ton of YouTube videos illustrating how to make your own natural lip balm without the use of harsh and synthetic chemicals. One of my favorites come from Ecoistas. Simply follow the instructions below for the best natural color and shine this holiday season!

What you will need:

  • 1 tbsp.  of coconut butter

  • 1 tbsp. soy wax

  • 3 drops vanilla extract

  • 1 drop rose oil

  • 1/4 tsp mineral blush or eye shadow (just make sure it’s chemical-free)

Instructions:

  1. Turn your stove on and wait until the water starts to simmer. In a double boiler, place the coconut butter and soy wax and occasionally mix until melted.

  2. Allow it to cool slightly and mix in the rose oil and of vanilla extract. This is purely for smell so if you want to use a different scent, go ahead!

  3. The color will harden lighter than it seems so feel free to add more or less to your taste.

  4. Blend everything together and let cool. Once it has cooled slightly, pour it into a (preferably reused) container.
