Style Guide: Wine, The New Black

Rich Wine, Berry, or Vamp: Any Shade of Burgundy Brings Life To Your Personal Style.

I have always loved the rich hue of red wine. Partially for the aroma, the antioxidant properties but most notably, its rich burgundy hue. Burgundy has long been a favorite color of my personal style. For a few seasons, the luxe color has remained a staple for many of my favorite brands + Fall 2015 is no exception!

Yes brandistas, rich wine remains the new black. Give your personal style a dash of new life with the addition a few great burgundy pieces. Opt for a fur vest in a deep wine color that hits right below the hips. Or, a bulk new burgundy scarf, a “vampish’ colored nail polish or a deep berry lip shade.  If you’re not ready to go full fledge burgundy, ease into a life of berry with some cool essentials? This season offers oodles of beautifully crafty, burgundy clutches. Wide brimmed burgundy fedoras.  Yes, a beret please? Infinity scarves continue to evoke personal style noise; and brings a hint of urban chic to personal style.  Leather jackets, dresses and skirts alike are all buzzing in beautiful tones of rich berry. Mini skirts with matching tights, leather skirts, form fitting skirts- in a beautiful wine color is a season must!

Wine Outerwear Brings Luxury To Your Personal Style

Statement outerwear with folds and military style trenches are eye catching this season + wine colored ones are getting all the buzz. Oversized bows on a coat or heavy angular folds on a cardi-wrap or blazer gives your current situation an automatic win. Thought floral prints were just for Spring? Wrong! Fall florals are in and they are fabulous  in berry too. Go with a darker background in the print to bring a little blossom on a dreary day.  Your personal style is your brand. Be fabulous and rock the new black: a rich berry!
